Meet the Team

Cassie Oberhoffer

Owner & Lead Instructor

Cassie is a 2010 graduate of Coe College. While at Coe she studied elementary education and child development, graduating with a BA in elementary education. Cassie holds an Iowa Teaching License and is certified in CPR and First Aid. 

Cassie began dancing at the age of 3 and took studio lessons until the age of 14. Cassie's love of dance didn't end there! She went on to become captain of the Voyager Dance Team at Vinton-Shellsburg High School and led her team to a state championship  in 2004. Cassie continued her dance career at Coe College where she competed in collegiate dance competitions and performed at various sporting events.

After college, Cassie began teaching at Hiawatha Day School and soon realized that she wasn't quite ready to make dancing a part of her past. With the encouragement of Christa Fielder, Owner of Hiawatha Day School, Cassie began sharing her passion for dance with her students. In the fall of 2011, Cassie opened Daytime Dancers and began to share her love of dance with students all over the Cedar Rapids area. 

Cassie is currently living in her hometown of Vinton. She is happily married to Andy and they have three children: Talon (3 years), Brynn (18 months) and Brooks (1 month). 

 

Abigail

Abigail began figure skating at a young age and then became passionate about dance in High School.  Abigail enjoys working with children, as she has been a nanny for several years. She currently teaches at The Montessori School of Iowa City, All Saints, and KidsPoint for Daytime Dancers.  Abigail truly enjoys sharing her passion of dance with children!

BRIELLE

Brielle has always enjoyed working with kids. She has coached preschool gymnastic classes and has taught cheer and dance routines at youth camps and clinics.  Brielle  participated in dance team and cheer during high school.  Brielle is teaching dance at Mother Goose, Hiawatha Day School, RCDC and Little GEM Learning Center for Daytime Dancers. Brielle is excited to be dancing with children once again!

TIERNAN

Tiernan loves working with kids and helping them learn.  She was a part of her high school dance team as well as part of the cheer squad.  Tiernan has also been a swim instructor for young children for several years.  Tiernan is teaching dance at CVMS, Cedar Rapids Day School, and Trinity Lutheran School.  She is excited to be sharing her passion of teaching and dance!
